SYNOPSIS:
Frank is the star of his own soap opera. "Frank's Life". Unfortunately for Frank, he doesn't know it. He doesn't realize that his mother, sister, best friend, wife, in fact everyone he has known since the age of three is an actor. But the elaborate deception cannot last much longer. The ratings tank and even the network is having problems. As actors are asked to take pay cuts, characters start killing themselves off in unseemly ways. Frank's gnawing feeling that something just doesn't seem right grows to near paranoia before he discovers that he has been duped by everyone he cares for. Then there is the little matter of what to do with Frank now that he knows. Frank's Life is a darkly funny allegory about an everyday good man who finds he has lost title of his own life and his showdown with the corporate powers to win back his life and make his own mark on the world without artifice. As he struggles to regain his humanity the actors around him discover theirs as well.
